Lindsay genuinely enjoys helping some of the most challenging behavior cases in our area. She has worked with animals from cruelty, hoarding, and aggression cases. She understands the complex relationship of the human-animal bond as well as the emotional toll behavior challenges can take on the family.
Lindsay has been in the animal field for over a decade. She began her journey as a veterinary assistant before becoming the director of a small non-profit animal shelter. Then she joined the team of a large municipal animal shelter overseeing the adoption department. She has trained staff, volunteers and pet owners on behavior techniques using positive and fear free training methods.
She holds a degree in psychology which set her up for a deeper understanding of animal behavior. She has earned the Certification in Professional Dog Trainer (CPDT-KA) and the Certification in Behavior Consultant for Canines (CBCC-KA). She is also a Fear Free Certified Trainer using positive, force free techniques. Lindsay continues to study animal behavior and has a passion for helping rescue and shelter animals with behavior challenges.
Outside of dog behavior, she enjoys nature, gardening, and crafting. She has two adorable rescue dogs of her own.
